When it comes to engagement sessions, there’s no better way to make the experience uniquely yours than by incorporating personal touches that reflect your personalities. For Kelly & Brendan in Lake Tahoe, California, that meant bringing along their skateboards for a fun and unforgettable photo session.
Lake Tahoe’s stunning landscapes—clear blue waters, towering pine trees, and breathtaking mountain views—were the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. But what truly made this session special was how they infused their love of skateboarding into their engagement session. Whether they were cruising along the road or playfully posing with their boards, it was clear how much fun they were having together.
We began the session by capturing some sweet, intimate moments along the coast of Lake Tahoe at one of my favorite beaches. They played around the sand, climbed on the rocks, and tossed a football around as the shimmering sun set over the lake. Then we headed up into the mountains, parked on the side of the road, and cruised around on skateboards. The energy was infectious, and the photos perfectly reflected their dynamic personalities.
From romantic shots with the shimmering lake in the background to fun action shots with their boards, this session was all about celebrating their love and unique bond. Skateboards weren’t just props—they were a part of their story, a fun and personal touch that made their engagement photos even more meaningful.
