Carol & Brian’s wedding weekend will forever be the most iconic Lake Tahoe wedding that ever happened in the history of time! I knew this was going to be my favorite wedding of the whole summer, and let me tell you I was not wrong.
We started the wedding festivities off on Friday with their wedding rehearsal on a yacht (Tahoe Paradise) on Lake Tahoe. When the owner of the boat mentioned that this was only the second wedding party to be on the boat in the past four years I was SHOOK! Like who wouldn’t want to be on a freakin’ yacht on one of the most stunning lakes in the entire world for their wedding.
What was truly special to see was that all the guests who came for Carol and Brian’s wedding weekend flew from far and wide. From Chicago, to New York, to Charlotte, everyone came to celebrate this amazing couple. Carol, Brain, and their guests spent the night partying, smoking cigars, listening to live music from a guitarist, and taking in the views of Lake Tahoe at sunset.
Their rehearsal was nothing short of perfect, so obviously their wedding day was going to be even more stunning! Getting ready took place at a gorgeous wood cabin in Tahoe City where Carol and Brian stayed separate as they got dressed and wrote their vows. Once ready, we headed down to Gar Woods and got these two married right on the lake with only their immediate family members.
After the ceremony, the rest of the guests arrived to send Carol and Brian off as we headed on to the Wild Goose cigar boat to cruise around the lake. On the boat, we took some photos and Carol and Brian shared their private vows with one another before we headed back to cocktail hour. The rest of the evening was spent dancing, drinking, toasts, eating cake, and partying the night away.
The whole weekend couldn’t have been more perfect, and I feel so lucky to have been the one chosen to capture such an important moment in this amazing couple’s journey.
